Terms of use
The rules for using Clavid during the beta, including what you may not use it for.
Last updated 2 October 2026
The service
Clavid lets you make videos with Claude and export them as files. It is in beta: features change, things can break, and we may pause or end the service. We will tell you before we end it, so you can download your work.
Your account
- Keep your email address secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- You are responsible for what happens in your workspaces, including what people you invite and the Claude connections you approve do there.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least 16.
Your content
You own the videos you make and the files you upload. You let us store, process and show them only to run the service for you and the people you share a workspace with.
Only upload files you have the right to use. Exported videos are yours to use, but music, footage or images inside them keep their own licences.
What Claude makes
Claude builds videos from what you ask for, and it can get facts, numbers, names or spelling wrong. Check a video before you publish it: you are responsible for what you publish.
Claude is made by Anthropic, not by us. When you connect it, Anthropic's own terms apply to your use of Claude.
Our service and name
While you follow these terms you may use Clavid for your own and your business's videos. The software, design, templates we provide and the Clavid name and logo stay ours; you may not copy them or suggest we endorse you.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Beta limits
- Each workspace may export 30 minutes of video a month, each export up to 10 minutes and 1080p.
- Each workspace may store 2 GB, with files up to 500 MB each.
- We may change these limits during the beta and will show the current ones in the app.
What you may not do
- Make or upload anything illegal, or anything that sexualises minors.
- Upload or export material you do not have the rights to.
- Make content that harasses, threatens or impersonates a real person, or that is meant to deceive people about who made it.
- Use deepfakes of real people without their consent.
- Try to reach another workspace's files, get around the limits, or overload the service, for example with automated sign-ups or exports.
- Probe, scan or attack the service, or use it to attack anyone else.
- Resell the service without our written agreement.
If you break these rules we may remove the content, pause exports, or close the account. Unless the law or safety requires otherwise, we tell you why first.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something on Clavid uses your work without permission, email hello@clavid.ai with the work, where it appears, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not allowed and that your complaint is accurate. We remove material that infringes and close the accounts of people who do it again.
Other services
Signing in with Google, connecting Claude, and fonts or files you bring in come from other companies. Their terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for what they do.
Ending your use
- You can stop using Clavid at any time and ask us to delete your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or end the service, as described above.
- Sections that by their nature should last, such as ownership, liability and these closing terms, keep applying after an account closes.
No warranty
The beta is provided as it is, without any promise that it will be available, correct or fit for a particular use. Keep your own copies of anything important.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
If someone makes a claim
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or published, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result, as far as the law allows.
Law and disputes
Tell us first at hello@clavid.ai and we will try to sort it out. These terms follow the law of the place where Clavid's operator is established, and nothing in them takes away rights your own consumer law gives you.
General
- We send notices by email to the address on your account or show them in the app.
- If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a change that matters, we email you before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
